That Didn't Take Long

I got to see my Nanny last night at a 50th birthday party. It really wasn't too surprising that she was up and at 'em after having a lumpectomy yesterday. She's always so tough, but what did surprise us was that the doctor tried to give her some pain medication for the next few days, and she told him she had no use for it. All day yesterday she said she had no pain whatsoever. She was back to her old self again less than twenty four hours after her surgery. So far, it looks like she's cancer free! Praise the Lord!!!
